Is Mormonism gnostic? Why do they need secret documents? The only thing a religion needs to keep secret if it isn't gnostic is account numbers and maybe tax documents.
Maybe the documents point to the secret location of the magic spectacles and golden tablets. There is an idea for another Indiana Jones or National Treasure movie. That would be a great treasure for him to find!
The Mormon church should do all it can from putting itself in the same sentence as Scientology.
